Okay, these two are so fun and laid back.
We started in Belmont and walked around for a while. The plan was to head to the Monticello Trail after that for some nature pictures. Unfortunately it was closed due to the sleet the day before. As was Carter’s Mountain and Monticello.
We made the quick decision to go downtown and shoot around the parks and on top of the parking garage and it worked out perfectly. Megan and Andrew were game for anything and just happy to be together. I loved that. So excited for their wedding next year at Wintergreen!
“We've been in touch with a family friend who has a beautiful piece of property in Southern Albemarle county that is absolutely ok with us being there for a shoot.”
They sent over some pictures of the property and I was sold. We walked around the property for a couple of hours taking pictures and I could probably have gone for a couple more. There was no shortage of beautiful areas and Cassie and Jacob were so easy to photograph. We had a great time. It was a perfect fall engagement session. Also, now we are even more excited for their wedding next year at Bellair Farm - one of my favorite places!
When we first met Kayleigh and Paul for their engagement session, we instantly felt like friends. Their sense of humor and lightheartedness had us laughing and goofing off the whole time. We started off at Chiles Peach Orchard and then headed over to Mint Springs Valley Park for sunset, which was perfect. Thanks to Jackson for the help, as always www.jacksonsmith.com. Here are a few of my favorites.
